Guitar Adventure

Guitar Adventure 1:

Grades: 2-6
Teacher: Lynn McGrath
Saturday, 12:30-1:30
Room: MSH 304

Tuition: $231 per semester*
Tuition with lessons (10% off): $208 per semester
Tuition with lessons and two or more concurrent 17-week classes or ensembles (15% off): $197 per semester
This is a yearlong course divided into two semesters.

Kids from grades 2-6 can explore the possibilities of the acoustic guitar in this fun-filled ensemble setting. Beginners through to early intermediate-level students are invited to take part in an exploration of various styles of music, from classical to rock, while learning and reinforcing guitar technique and musicianship. This is a great way to get started on the guitar before or in coordination with private lessons. Students must provide their own acoustic guitar in playable condition, a guitar footstool, and a folder for handouts. A clip-on electronic tuner is strongly encouraged.
