Whether you want to become a casual player for your own enjoyment, or play in one of the areas many bands for perhaps become an advanced piping soloist in competitions and recitals around the country, we can help make your dream a reality. Specifically, we will cover:

-Maintenance and proper care of the practice chanter
-Tuning of the practice chanter
-Learn the bagpipe scale and basic embellishments with proper technique
-Learn to read bagpipe musical notation
-Learn several beginner bagpipe tunes including Amazing Grace, Danny Boy, and many others
-Understanding of the parts of a full set of bagpipes
-Next steps to acquire an affordable full set of pipes with sources list

You will not need to invest in a full set of pipes to start. All you will need is a basic practice chanter (a recorder like instrument), a tutor book, and some instruction. ECMS has partnered with Colin Nesbit, owner of The Pipers Cove, to provide the practice chanter and tutor book package for just $99.95.
