1. Jazz Media Projects are allocated 10 hours of studio time with a T&MP Audio Engineer. The Technology and Media Production office should be notified at least one month in advance of the time that you would like to schedule your studio sessions. Engineers will consult with the Chair of the JCM department if scheduling conflicts arise. T&MP must have the JCM Department Chair’s approval before your session is booked.
  2. The 10 hours of allocated studio time for JCM students includes the following: equipment set-up, recording, equipment teardown, editing, mixing, and mastering. You will consult with the engineer to determine the appropriate breakdown for your project.
  3. Please be courteous about keeping your appointment times and professional about the manner in which you do your studio work. This is good training for future opportunities, and will be rewarding in the long run.
  4. To request your sessions, begin by filling out all the information on the Recording Session Request Form. After the form is submitted, a T&MP Audio Engineer will contact you to discuss the details of your project. We will determine the availability of our resources (staff & equipment) and schedule your session.
