November 5, 2012 – Eastman Email Migrations
We’re excited to announce that Eastman Computing Services has started migrating Eastman faculty and staff to the new email server since October 15, 2012. The new email servers have been built to provide better performance, a more robust & feature-enriched Webmail, and higher reliability. This also gives Mac users the ability to use Microsoft Outlook 2011 (Standard Edition) or Apple Mail to access their Eastman email. The mailbox quota will remain the same after the migration. We are actively working with department heads to determine the best day for their departments to make the switch. We thank you for your patience.
September 6, 2012 – UR Wireless Expansion
The UR Wireless network has been expanded to include the basement common areas within the Student Living Center, Eastman Theater 404, 410, 411, 412, 603, 605, and Main Hall 514.
