Students (individuals and pre-formed groups) are welcome to participate in chamber music reading sessions hosted by the Sibley Music Library on the following Saturdays, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (drop in when you can in the Alec Wilder Reading Room):
- Strings: September 19, October 24, November 21 (led by David Ying / Masumi Rostad)
- Brass: September 26, October 31 (led by Mark Kellogg / TBA)
- Woodwinds: October 17 (led by Anne Harrow)
This is an opportunity for students to read through chamber music (known and unknown) in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Perhaps some buried musical treasures will be found in the process?
