Alan Ringwood
Head of Cataloging
Alan Ringwood oversees all cataloging operations for the Sibley Music Library. Working with staff across the Library, he sets priorities so that library materials—whether they are newly acquired, in gift or other project backlogs, or in hidden collections—are cataloged in a timely manner and available for use by Eastman students, faculty, and staff. He also communicates with staff at the University’s River Campus Libraries to improve discovery of and access to music resources via Discover UR, the University’s library catalog. Mr. Ringwood is a member of the Music Library Association and the Music OCLC Users Group (MOUG), and was elected twice to the MOUG Executive Board, including a term as Chair (2018-2020)
