Student non-degree recitals can take place in Ciminelli Lounge, Howard Hanson Hall, or the Ray Wright Room (ESM 120).
First and second year undergraduates must share a joint recital with at least one other student. Juniors, seniors, and grad students may schedule a solo recital or a joint recital. All students are limited to one non-degree recital per semester, regardless of if it is a joint or solo recital.
Recitals are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Recitals are scheduled by half semester (first day of fall classes to fall break, after fall break through end of fall semester, first day of spring class to spring break, after spring break through end of spring semester). Recital dates can be requested on the first date of the half-semester in which they occur or four weeks before, whichever comes earlier. Recitals may not take place during finals period or over academic breaks.
Note that if your event requires technical support, such as recording equipment, you must arrange this separately with ESM Technology and Media Production (Room 60). The Concert Office does not provide ushers or produce programs for non-degree recitals.
