Majoring and Minoring in Music Workshops

Learn what it takes to prepare for music school with the experts at Eastman!

This year, the Eastman Community Music School and the Eastman School of Music are presenting a FREE workshop for high school students interested in applying and auditioning for college music programs

Sophomores, juniors, seniors, and parents, are invited to come and learn the ins and outs of applying to music school and planning for a career in music from Eastman’s professional Admissions and Career Advising staff.

The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st from 3:30pm – 5:30pm in Howard Hanson Hall at 26 Gibbs St.

Workshop topics will include:

Majoring and Minoring in Music – Learn what music schools look for in an application, how best to prepare for an audition, what one can do with a music degree, and what the difference is between majoring and minoring in music.
