New Horizons Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band is comprised of players with at least a medium level of proficiency on their instrument. Rehearsals are scheduled twice weekly. In addition, participants have the opportunity to work with Eastman School of Music student mentors who specialize on their instrument, in sectional rehearsals that take place during regularly scheduled rehearsal time. The Band plays three concerts during the year—Fall, Holiday, and Spring, along with a few performances in the community.
This is a year-long course divided into two semesters. Participants will be automatically re-registered for Spring semester unless written notification is received by December 1st .
