New Horizons Piano Class
General Information

DescriptionLearning to play the piano or keyboard offers numerous benefits for seniors, enhancing both mental and physical well-being. Playing music stimulates the brain, improving memory, cognitive function, and concentration. It also supports hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, which can help counteract age-related decline. Beyond physical benefits, piano lessons provide a creative outlet, reducing stress and fostering emotional expression. They also offer opportunities for social interaction, boosting mood and combating loneliness.
Join our instructor from the Eastman Community Music School, for 9 weekly lessons, at the PCC! Keyboards will be supplied for the classes. Who knows, you may just end up in one of the New Horizon ensembles!
