Composition: Film Scoring

DescriptionThis is a yearlong course divided into two semesters.

Students learn composition, orchestration, and narrative techniques for film music; analyze film scores; study notation in MuseScore or Finale/Sibelius and other notation softwares, and compose their own scores for scenes and short films.
