Tuition: $240 per semester
Tuition with lessons (10% off): $216 per semester
Tuition with lessons and two or more concurrent 17-week classes or ensembles (15% off): $204 per semester
This is a yearlong course divided into two semesters.

Introduces musicians of all piano levels (including beginners) to jazz piano voicings and rhythms.  This full-year course is open to new students in the fall only.  The rich language of jazz piano is introduced gradually, beginning with the Blues and continuing through basic scales and creative pieces designed to help coordinate the hands.  Some of the many important jazz pianists to be studied include Duke Ellington, Bud Powell and Bill Evans.
