Bridges: Piano Starters
General Information
Description
The Bridges program introduces young children in First through Fourth Grades to the joy of making music. These short sampler classes give children the opportunity to try out a different instrument each 9-week session to find the right fit. Instruments are provided by ECMS.
At the conclusion of each session, students will present what they’ve learned to their families and to each other. At that point, students may sign up to repeat the course, try out a different instrument, or transition to private lessons.
Concurrent enrollment in Clef Club or Elementary Musicianship is strongly encouraged to fully develop musical skills and enhance their experience.
Bridges classes meet weekly in 9-week sessions:
- Fall 2025: 9/27 – 11/22
- Winter 2026: 1/10 – 3/14
- Spring 2026: 3/21 – 5/23
