Throughout the month of April the URochester Libraries Data Services Team will host Data Skills, a series of practical, hands-on virtual workshops centered around teaching practical data skills. Follow alongside instructors live as you gain experience with GitHub, OpenRefine (a data cleaning tool), Excel, QGIS (a geospatial mapping tool), survey design, and LabArchives (an electronic laboratory notebook). Activity guides with step-by-step instructions will be given to everyone who registers. Feel free to come even if you cannot stay the entire time!
