Honors Wind Quintet
General Information
Description
The Honors Wind Quintet is the premier ECMS chamber ensemble for students playing at curricular level VI. The Honors Wind Quintet is a full scholarship ensemble that is required to perform in both an ECMS recital and in a community outreach concert. The ensemble will have a total of 10 hours of rehearsals, which will be scheduled at the beginning of each semester. Students must either audition for the coach or be recommended by their ECMS private instructor.
Audition Requirements:
- NYSSMA Level 5 Solo
- Sight Reading assigned by the instructor
