Congratulations to Lauren Wilson ’23E (PhD) for being named Associate Professor of Law at the University at Buffalo. As both a teacher and writer in the areas of intellectual property and law, her work focuses on the interactions between social and legal conceptions of ownership and authorship in creative media. Prior to joining the faculty at UB’s School of Law, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Richard A. Hertling on the United States Court of Federal Claims and taught undergraduate courses in music theory and study skills at Eastman School of Music and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. Lauren earned her PhD in music theory from Eastman.
