Congratulations to Sam Reenan ’18E (MA), ’21E (PhD) on his appointment as Assistant Professor of Music Theory at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), beginning August 15, 2025. Prior to this appointment, Sam served as Theory Coordinator and Director of Graduate Studies at Miami University where he was also an elected member of University Senate and participated in numerous collaborative faculty development initiatives. In addition, his book, Symphonic Spectacles, was recently published by Oxford University Press. Sam earned both his PhD and Master of Arts degree in Music Theory from Eastman.
