Graham Ulery
STUDENT PROFILE
Graham Ulery (1st year MM) started playing horn in 2014 while living in Pittsburgh. From 2016-2021, he studied with Mark Houghton of the Pittsburgh Symphony, an Eastman Alumni. In 2021, Graham enrolled at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Dale Clevenger’s studio. Appearing in twelve orchestra concerts at IU, Graham performed as a member of the Conductor’s, Symphony, Concert, and Chamber Orchestras. He completed his undergraduate studies with David Griffin of the Chicago Symphony at Roosevelt University. Graham spent summer of 2022 at Texas Music Festival, played at the Chautauqua Institution in 2024, and at Brevard Music Center in 2024 and 2025. His Chautauqua performances in August of 2024, alongside the Music School Festival Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, are the focus of the PBS documentary, “Chautauqua at 150: Wynton Marsalis’ All Rise”, which aired nationally on February 11, 2025. Graham enjoys cooking, roadtripping, and distance swimming.
