Yuhe Su
Yuhe Su is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, under the tutelage of David Higgs and is also serving as his teaching assistant. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where she studied organ performance with Yuan Shen. During the Master’s period, she won the highest-level scholarship for three consecutive years with her excellent academic performance.
Yuhe has been to many cities all over the world such as Harlem, Groningen (NL), Paris, Versailles (FR), Berlin (DE), London, St. Albans (UK), Seoul (KOR) to participate in international organ competitions and festivals. In 2017, She won the Third Prize in the “CCOM- Harlem International Organ Festival Scholarship Competition”. In 2021, She got into the final round of the “XII Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ Competition”. In 2025, She was one of the quarter-finalists in the “33rd St. Albans International Organ Competition”. In the same year, she won the Third Prize in the “5th Sursa American Organ Competition”. Yuhe performed in masterclasses held by world-renowned musicians such as Isabelle Demers, Janette Fishell, Alan Morrison, Jean-Baptiste Robin, Dong-ill Shin, Leo van Doeselaar, Daniel Zaretsky, etc.
