Piano Accompanying
Chia-Han Li, originally from Taipei, Taiwan, is currently pursuing the Master of Music in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music degree with Dr. Andrew Harley at the Eastman School of Music, where she holds a graduate assistantship in vocal and instrumental accompanying. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at National Taiwan Normal University, studying with Dr. Cheh-Chen Wang, and received her MM in Piano Performance, and Graduate Performance Diploma in Collaborative Piano at Longy School of Music, where she studied with Gila Goldstein. In 2023, she attended Berkshire High Peaks Festival in Berkshire, working with Gila Goldstein, Ching-Yi Lin, and Ross Harbaugh.
Chia-Han has considerable experience in the field of liturgical music, working extensively with three choirs in the Greater Boston area for the past three years. In the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston Church Choir and the City Light Church Choir, she worked with composer and pianist Jenny H. Chou, whose name and works were recently included in the book Choral Repertoire by Women Composers (edited by Hilary Apfelstadt, with associate editor Alan Troy Davis, 2025). In the Enharmonic Ministry Sacred Choir, she worked with soprano Kathy Ho, who was a member of Tanglewood Festival Chorus for over twenty years. In 2024, Chia-Han served as the executive administrator and pianist of the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston Church Choir Concert.
