A native of Boise, Idaho, Aidan is a first-year horn performance major at the Eastman School of Music, where he studies with W. Peter Kurau and Stephen Laifer. During high school, he participated in the NAfME All-Northwest Band and served as principal horn of the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the Idaho Music Educators’ Association All-State Band and Orchestra. He is a two-time winner of the BPYO Concerto Competition and has placed first multiple times in the IMEA State Solo and Ensemble Competition for horn solo, brass quintet, and brass trio.

At Eastman, Aidan enjoys performing with the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra, the Eastman Wind Orchestra, his woodwind quintet, and the Eastman Horn Choir.

Outside of music, he enjoys running, rock climbing, studying voice, and trying new hot sauces.
