2027 Remote Audition Option: Applicants who would like to audition virtually should upload a final audition video by February 1st.

PRE-SCREENING AND AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate
There is no pre-screening required for undergraduate harp.
BM audition requirements:
- Bochsa Etude Opus 34 No. 1
- A Bach/Grandjany Etude of your choice.
- Two Contrasting works of your choice, the level of each reflecting the following: Tournier’s Vers la Source dans le Bois or Etude Au Matin, Marcel Grandjany’s Fantasy on a Theme by Haydn, Op. 31, Pescetti ‘s Sonata in C Minor, etc.
Graduate
There is no pre-screening required for graduate harp.
MM audition requirements:
Each of the following:
- Bach/Grandjany Fugue from Violin Sonata, No 1 BWV 1001
- Three works of contrasting style from the following periods: 20th-century French and Contemporary
- (Works of Renié, Hindemith, Britten, Houdy, Salzedo, Grandjany Rhapsodie, etc)
DMA audition requirements: Applicants must prepare a 40-minute audition program, to be performed from memory, including works representing at least three contrasting style periods.
