BIOGRAPHY
A native of New Jersey, Andrea Mumm Trammell holds the Dr. Billy Graham Principal Harp chair of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Andrea is also the Principal Harp of the Colorado Music Festival and has performed as guest principal harpist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, North Carolina Symphony, and Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
Andrea has been a featured soloist numerous times with her Charlotte Symphony on works such as Debussy’s Danse sacrée et danse profane and Mozart’s Concerto in C Major for Flute and Harp.
In Charlotte, Andrea is a highly sought after teacher. She is the Lecturer of Harp at University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG). Andrea also maintains a private teaching studio and has served as a judge for the Young Artist’s Harp Competition.
Andrea holds her Bachelor of Music degree as well as a Performer’s Certificate from the Eastman School of Music and her Master of Music degree with Program Honors from Northwestern University. She has also studied with Sarah Bullen at the Chicago College of Performing Arts.
