Zhenhan Zhou, from Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music with Dr.Andrew Harley at the Eastman School of Music, where he holds a graduate assistantship in vocal and instrumental accompanying. Having commenced his piano training at the age of five, Zhenhan completed his undergraduate studies and obtained a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou.
Zhenhan began his collaborative piano journey in high school, accompanying the school choir and supporting vocal and instrumental examinations for the music specialty class, which sparked his enthusiasm for piano accompaniment. During his undergraduate studies at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, he studied piano with Giovanni Vitaletti and collaborative piano with Yuan Yao. As a recipient of the Yamaha Scholarship, he has served as a piano accompanist for countless studio recitals, masterclasses, competitions and concerts, collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists across the entire conservatory. In 2024, he was honored as a Top Outstanding Piano Student. In 2025, he was awarded the Silver Prize at the Yamaha Piano Competition.
