Ali Santos
Ali Santos is a doctoral student at the Eastman School of Music, where she also earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Organ Performance studying with David Higgs. While at Eastman, she served as production assistant for the Memorial Art Gallery’s Third Thursday concert series and continuo accompanist for Baroque chamber ensembles. A recipient of Eastman’s 2023 Gerald Barnes Award for excellence in pipe organ performance, Ali was also a finalist in the 2024 National Young Artist Competition in Organ Playing, hosted by the American Guild of Organists in San Francisco, and is the 2025–2026 recipient of the AGO Salisbury Scholarship. Ali began organ studies in 2015 after receiving a scholarship from the Richmond chapter of the American Guild of Organists, studying with Patricia Schrock and Daniel Sañez. She served as organ scholar at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Richmond, VA, and Director of Music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hanover, VA and Penfield United Methodist Church in Penfield, NY. She currently serves as Organist and Director of Music at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Webster, NY. In addition to her musical work, Ali holds a dual degree in Kinesiology and Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
