Samantha Webber is a PhD candidate. She has a bachelor’s degree in music education and flute performance, and a Master of Arts in teaching from Christopher Newport University. She also holds a Master of Arts in music education from Case Western Reserve University. She currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sam has over ten years of experience as a music teacher in diverse settings, including public K–5 schools, private preschools, community music schools, and universities. Her interests include music learning in early childhood and elementary general music education, and children’s perspectives on music learning. Sam chose Eastman for its dedication to rigorous scholarship. She spends her free time with her two cats, Pippin and Persephone.
