Ryan Greene is a second year undergraduate at the Eastman School of Music pursuing his Bachelor of Music in organ performance in the studio of David Higgs. A native of South Carolina, Ryan is an inaugural member of the Organ Scholars Program at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC, and has served as substitute organist at several area churches. Ryan has received many scholarships in piano and organ through local competitions. He attended the Summer Organ Academy at Eastman in the summer of 2019. In the Spring of 2020, he was a winner of the national American Guild of Organists’ Young Organist Competition, Greater Columbia Chapter. He was a recipient of the Gerald Barnes Award for Excellence in Pipe Organ in the Spring of 2021.
