Hailing from Belchertown, MA, Kasey Gibbons is a sophomore horn performance major at the Eastman School of Music studying under the tutelage of W. Peter Kurau. At Eastman, Kasey is a member of various ensembles, including the Eastman Wind Orchestra, the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra, the Eastman Horn Choir, the FFF Brass Quintet, and a woodwind quintet. In the spring of 2025, she won second place in the International Women’s Brass Conference Mock Military Band Competition and has spent past summers at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Greenwood Music Camp. Aside from playing horn, Kasey is passionate about singing in choir, trying new coffee combinations, and adding to her collection of hot sauces.
