Jacob Factor is currently a doctoral candidate in the PhD program for music education. He earned his Masters of music and Bachelor degrees in performance and education from Ithaca College. Jacob has taught students at all levels of education and beyond, and continues to grow a private studio through his professional website: jacobfactormusic.com Additionally, his creative projects and multi-instrumentalism with horn and guitar have positioned Jacob as a versatile professional, comfortable in all standard instrumental settings, rock, blues, and folk ensembles, pedagogical training, research, and curriculum design. Recently, Jacob was asked to give a TEDx talk about innovative solutions grounded in real human needs: precisely the intersection of his many professional hats.

Jacob chose Eastman for the “quality education I knew that I would get from the professors and school environment.
