DATES AND AUDITION OPTIONS
2027 On campus Audition Dates: Saturdays February 13, 20, and 27
Applicants must upload their pre-screening recordings, along with the rest of their application materials, within their online application by December 1st. Additionally, all applicants must submit their final round repertoire selections within the online application by December 1st. Substitutions and/or changes after this date are not allowed. Every effort will be made to find partners for on-campus auditions.
Β 2027 Remote Audition option:
Applicants who choose to audition remotely must upload their pre-screening recordings, along with the rest of their application materials, within their online application by December 1st. Additionally, all applicants must submit their final round repertoire selections within the online application by December 1st. Substitutions and/or changes after this date are not allowed. Applicants who have chosen to audition remotely and pass the pre-screening round will be required to submit their final round audition recordings by February 1st. Remote applicants will be notified no later than March 1st if they will be invited to participate in a final-round Zoom interview.

PRESCREENING AND AUDITION REPERTOIRE
MM & DMA Pre-screening Requirement: By December 1st, applicants must upload a pre-screening audition recording. The pre-screening recording must be between approximately 15 and 20 minutes in duration of collaborative repertoire. Applicants have a free choice of repertoire and are encouraged to submit repertoire which demonstrates the highest level of their artistic and technical capabilities. Recordings must include a balance of vocal and instrumental collaboration. Applicants may choose from the following collaborative repertoire categories: song, opera, duo instrumental repertoire, and chamber music. Please record each individual movement/selection in its own separate, unedited track.
MM & DMA Final Round Audition Requirements: The required repertoire for the final round audition is the same for both audition types. All applicants must submit their repertoire selections within the online application by December 1st. Every effort will be made to find partners for on-campus auditions. Applicants will be required to sight-read with and/or without a provided partner.
- Two complete instrumental works selected from the Accompanying Audition Repertoire List, Group A (See PDF link below)
- Β Five songs selected from the Accompanying Audition Repertoire List, comprising appropriate selections from Groups B, C, and D.
- One aria selected from the Accompanying Audition Repertoire List, Group E.
- One concerto reduction selected from the Accompanying Audition Repertoire List, Group F.
- Candidates must either play AND sing one (1) art song or one (1) aria of their choice or present a short solo piano work, Group G.
- Applicants will be required to sight-read with and/or without provided partners.
