Congratulations to Eleanor Price ’21E (MA), ’25E (PhD) for accepting a postdoctoral research fellowship at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium, sponsored by the Belgian American Educational Foundation, where she will pursue a research project titled, “Sang in Song: Wine, Students, and Violence in Motets on Par veritĂ©,” which examines Franco-Flemish student identity and musicking at the thirteenth-century University of Paris. Eleanor earned both a PhD and Master of Arts degree in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from Eastman and served as a graduate instructor of Musicology and Music History.
