VBlog #1 – Introduction

Tyler Gauldin is currently a graduate student working towards a MM degree in Classical Saxophone at the Eastman School of Music, where he also received his undergraduate degree in performance, as well as a Performer's Certificate.

Over the past few years, Tyler has been focusing on film as a way to reach different audiences via online media sources. By combining music and film, he has been able to create a diverse portfolio inspired by various art mediums. Some of his projects include silent film, animation, and live art performances. Tyler has also been hired to create numerous commercials, and to document special events through the Institute for Music Leadership (located at the Eastman School of Music).

Tyler has written and directed all of his projects, some of which he has starred in. In the upcoming years, he wishes to further his abilities in editing and media components. Through film collaboration and musical elements, Tyler hopes to draw a deeper appreciation of music from his audience.
