It will be the patron&#8217;s responsibility to reach out to those parties for their permission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In keeping with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esm.rochester.edu\/sibley\/music\/sibley-resources\/request\/\">public domain digitizing service <\/a>\u00a0launched by the SML in 2008, RTWSC will levy no charge on any request for a work that is demonstrably in the public domain. A request for <strong>any public domain item, in its entirety,<\/strong> will be provided free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>A service fee will apply for custom scans and for works that are still under copyright protection. The service fee on any transaction will be equal to twice the department\u2019s photocopying fee<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1763489680119{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Accordingly, RTWSC\u2019s fees for duplication services are as follows:&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h4|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1604431961262{border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-color: #cccccc !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1763489694054{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photocopying<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Orders placed within the department and picked up in person are charged at the rate of US$0.10\/page on 8.5\u00d711\u201d paper, or US$0.15\/page on 11\u00d717\u201d paper.<\/li>\n<li>Orders placed from off-site (i.e., by telephone, email, fax, or U.S. Mail) are charged at the rate of US$0.25\/page.<\/li>\n<li>For postal delivery of photocopies, the department\u2019s charge for domestic shipping and handling is US$2.00. For international postal delivery, postal rates as published on the United States Postal Service\u2019s website will apply.<\/li>\n<li>A service fee of US$10.00 will apply to any order totaling more than 50 pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scanning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No fee will apply to any work in the public domain that is to be scanned in its entirety, thereby permitting its publication online for the benefit of the entire community.<\/li>\n<li>A service and transmission fee will attend any requests for content <strong>that is not in the public domain<\/strong>. The fee will equal twice what the photocopying cost would be on the given request.<\/li>\n<li>Requests for custom scanning, such as high-resolution requests for publication purposes, will be invoiced at the rate of US$5 per image.<\/li>\n<li>Any specialized requests that must be outsourced will be subject to the direct invoicing by the designated vendor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Payment&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h4|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1578071822707{border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-color: #cccccc !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>Payment will be accepted by cash, check, money order, or credit card.
