Students will receive an email notification with their carrel key and carrel number. The carrel is listed in your library account and is checked out to you for the entire academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Renewals:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Renewal reminders are sent by email before the end of the spring semester.<\/li>\n<li>To renew a carrel, users must resubmit the Graduate Carrel Online Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Use &amp; Care Guidelines:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a clean and orderly carrel.<\/li>\n<li>Do not leave personal belongings unattended.<\/li>\n<li>Hot plates, tea kettles, and food preparation equipment<b>\u00a0<\/b>are not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Please maintain a quiet study environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Personal Property &amp; Security:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Library cannot guarantee the safety of personal items left in carrels, and other patrons may use an open, unoccupied carrel. When away, keep desktops and windowsills free of loose papers.
