For those of you graduating, I want to wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors! I hope you have a great summer and a smooth transition to whatever you have planned next.
For students returning next fall, the University of Rochester will require all students enrolled for the 2021-22 academic year to be vaccinated against COVID-19. All students enrolled for the 2021-22 academic year and who plan to be on campus are expected to have received an approved vaccine (both doses if getting a two dose vaccine) by August 1, 2021. This requirement applies to all schools, regardless of when their students are on campus for the 2021-22 academic year, as well as to all students who live either on campus and off campus. Students will be asked to provide proof of vaccination by uploading documentation to University Health Service (UHS) via UHS Connect. Instructions for uploading a document to UHS Connect are available here. Students who have not set up an account to access UHS Connect can email HHF@uhs.rochester.edu to request a registration letter. Please note that UHS only recently began using student ID #s for UHS Connect, so anyone who used UHS before last year but not this year will need to email UHS for their UHS Connect ID.
If you wish to receive the Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine in May before you leave, you can call UHS at 585-275-2662 to schedule a nurse appointment. Otherwise, appointments are available at the Medical Center and at various sites in the Rochester area to get the Pfizer or Moderna (two dose) vaccines.
