New Semester, New Beginnings!

New semesters bring new beginnings! I am excited to get this semester started and talk about what I have planned this semester.

Post Concert Report!

In this Vlog I share how my most recent concert performance went, my recent visit to the University of Miami and my plans for the rest of the semester!

Vlog 6 – Can You…

Vlog #4 – Interpretation

In this vlog, I read a poem from “What to Listen for in the World” about Interpretation and briefly discuss.

Vlog #2 – Transitions and Rehearsal

When life hands you lemons…still show up on time to rehearsals. Vlog #2

Vblog #25 – Gil Evans

For the past three years I’ve had the privilege to work with Ryan Truesdell unearthing and discovering some of the forgotten music of Gil Evans. We will travel to Perugia, Italy to play in the Umbria Jazz Fest to present all of our hard work!

Here is a sample of a piece I wrote for Gaudete Brass Quintet for Kmang Kmang’s CD Release Show March 31st, 2012. We had a blast, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time to do revisions with the piece. It was very difficult to say the least!
