Marketing in a Recession

I am focused on looking for the small slivers of opportunity that price adjustment (up and down) can make. Pricing opportunities, coupled by appropriate promotional support, can be a winning combination. Chris hits the nail on the head regarding the timing of promotions – especially those that cause subscribers to question their relationship with the orchestra. Also of consideration are the resources required to mount the promotion. Gone are the days of needing to run mass market promotions – with the variety of custom channels and data segmentation tools we can (hopefully) deliver the right offer in the hands of the right consumer at the right time.
