Rich Wattie is a professional audio engineer and musician. He holds degrees in Recording Arts & Sciences and Percussion Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. He is a contributing member of the International Audio Engineering Society. He collaborates with a great team of audio engineers in the historic Media Production department at the Eastman School of Music. He is the Eastman Opera Theatre Sound Designer. Rich has taught recording classes for the Institute for Music Leadership since 2009, and presents in studio classes. He engineers recording sessions for various classes, including within the new Film Scoring Degree Program. His rules are: Always Be Rolling, Always Roll Everything, and Watch The Camera.
