Biography

Kelsey Peterson has been an adjunct professor in English at the Eastman School of Music since fall of 2016. She also teaches writing at the State University of New York at Geneseo and is the Assistant Coordinator of the Literary Arts Program at the University of Rochester. Her main creative interests are in fiction writing and hybrid literary forms. She’s currently at work on a collection of short stories. 

Peterson holds a BA summa cum laude with Honors in English from the University of Rochester and an MFA in fiction writing from Washington University in St. Louis. At Rochester, she received the Joseph O’Connor Graduate Study Endowment Fund Award, and at Washington University she received an Olin Fellowship, as well as the Dorothy Negri Prize.
