The Eastman Wind Ensemble’s 60th year Celebration

Fennell Masterclass Schedule – 60th
Frederick Fennell conducted the first concert of the Eastman Wind Ensemble on February 8, 1953 in Kilbourn Hall. This coming February, we celebrate the 60th anniversary of this groundbreaking concert and concept.
The celebration will include:
- EWO Concert, Wed. Feb. 6 featuring EWE “autograph” works, Eastman Theater
Holst, Gould, Bernstein, Ravel
- The 5th Annual Frederick Fennell Memorial Conducting Masterclass
In conjunction with the Conductor’s Guild
- EWE Concert, Fri. Feb 8 featuring landmark and new works, Eastman Theater
