{"id":611,"date":"2017-05-10T12:19:01","date_gmt":"2017-05-10T16:19:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esm.rochester.edu\/community\/?page_id=611"},"modified":"2026-05-20T12:33:34","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T16:33:34","slug":"accompanist-contact-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.esm.rochester.edu\/community\/faq\/accompanist-contact-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Accompanying"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ECMS Accompanying Service Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To encourage participation in Eastman Community Music School (ECMS) performances each year, the following accompaniment service is offered to all our students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each student registered for private lessons for the full semester is granted&nbsp;<strong>two rehearsal coupons per semester<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each coupon is redeemable for one accompanying service, up to 30 minutes, from any accompanist on the ECMS list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students should come to the ECMS Office to receive their coupons (3rd floor of Messinger Hall).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is teachers\u2019 responsibility to select and make the initial contact with the accompanist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students registered for multiple instrument\/voice lessons are eligible for two free coupons per lesson registration per semester.&nbsp; Coupons are intended for the instrument\/voice for which they are awarded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a student does not use the complimentary coupons during the first semester and was registered for the full first semester of lessons, he or she is entitled to four coupons during the second semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coupons expire at the end of the school year.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who need additional coupons may purchase them at the ECMS Office. The cost of each coupon is $17.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eastman Community Music School pays accompanists for Eastman recitals, master classes, and juries at no cost to the student, so coupons should not be used toward any of these events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ECMS students should not pay accompanists in any way other than with ECMS accompanist coupons for any ECMS-related rehearsal time. ECMS coupons cannot be used for non-ECMS events and accompanists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Classical<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-query is-layout-flow
