Apostolos Konstantakis, originally from Rhodes, has been recognized with awards across Greece, Europe, and the United States. His distinctions include first prizes at the 5th Greek National Piano Competition of the Thessaloniki Piano Festival, the 2024 Conrad Art Song Competition, the 2024 Ohio MTNA Competition, and the 2023 Bowling Green State University Concerto Competition. These honors led to concerto performances of Liszt\u2019s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the BG Philharmonia under Dr. Emily Freeman Brown, and with the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Athens Conservatoire under Pavlos Sergiou.<\/p>\n
He has performed in major venues such as the Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls, the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera, and the Palace of the Grand Master in Rhodes, as well as in cities including Xanthi, Corfu, Florina, and across the United States. His festival appearances include the Rhodes International Piano Forum, the Rhodes Art International Music Festival, and the International Festival of Symi.<\/p>\n
He began his piano studies at the Music Art School of the Dodecanese, where he earned a Piano Diploma under the tutelage of Eftychia Spyrou. He went on to study at the Department of Music of the Ionian University, where he worked with Lambis Vassiliadis and under the guidance of Hideyo Harada. In May 2025, he completed his master\u2019s studies in Piano Performance at Bowling Green State University in the United States, under Dr. Solungga Liu.<\/p>\n
