She moved to Rochester a decade ago to attend the Eastman School of Music, and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Musical Arts.&nbsp;JT now teaches elementary general music at Rochester Academy of Science, and was awarded \u201cEducator of the Year\u201d in the 2023-2024 school year. She is excited to return to the faculty of ECMS where she started her teaching journey making music with young children and their families!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond her teaching responsibilities, JT enjoys cooking, yoga and reading.
