Juli Elliot is a Rochester, NY based vocalist, pianist and conductor. She is an active church musician, recitalist, ensemble singer and choral conductor (Eastman-Rochester New Horizons Chorus) as well as an instructor of voice and piano. In Rochester, she has performed with Voices (William Weinert) and Madrigalia (Cary Ratcliff) as vocalist and pianist as well as singing with early music ensemble, Musica Spei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recent choral work has taken Ms Elliot to England for the 2017 Oxbridge Summer Institute Choir in Oxford and Cambridge, John Dickson, Conductor. As a member of Madrigalia, she has regularly been a soloist with the Rochester Philharmonic’s multimedia concerts of video game music. Other solo engagements include a 2017 Summer at Eastman faculty recital in Hatch Hall, Summer Travels with Fanny and Felix: Art and Song from the Mendelssohn Siblings with Christopher Petit, fortepiano, soprano soloist in Ode to Common Things, Cary Ratcliff, Kilbourn Hall, Eastman School of Music (ESM), Only in Sleep, Eriks Esenvalds, with Madrigalia in Eastman Theatre (ESM), Praebe Virgo, Leonardo Leo for Sunday Baroque concerts at the Memorial Art Gallery (University of Rochester) and works of Arvo P\u00e4rt with Genessee Valley Orchestra and Chorus (Christopher Petit). Recent solo recitals have been held at St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran, Pittsford, NY and at Jesus College, Oxford University, UK. She has performed solo and choral music in England, France and Italy, singing with Fairhaven Singers (Cambridge), City of Oxford and Vox choirs in (Oxford), Farm Street Singers and Excalibur Voices (London).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aside from making music Ms. Elliot has enjoyed the administrative and promotion side of music by serving on the boards of the Cathedral Choir School and Society for Chamber Music Rochester. Ms. Elliot studied World Religion and Music at Ashland University (OH) and Piano Pedagogy at Portland State University (OR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
