Solofest Prep Workshops
The ECMS Faculty have been hearing about how difficult it is to prepare music for performances and festivals like NYSSMA Solofest in isolation this year from their students. To combat this fact, our faculty have set aside time this spring to help students prepare their solos in a virtual group setting and get feedback from our expert faculty for free.
The best part is that these sessions are not only open to ECMS students, but to anyone who could use the help in this most unusual academic year!
All sessions will be one hour long and held in a master class format online via Zoom. Students will take turns to play for and get direct feedback from faculty on their instrument with up to 5 soloists performing in each workshop. This means that soloists and other students will have the opportunity to learn from their own performances and those of their peers.
After registering for one of the virtual workshops, the teacher will send a Zoom link to participants inviting them to join at the scheduled time!
