Jerome Bell

Jerome is excited to join Eastman Community Music School’s Theory Department. Jerome Bell is a second year Ph.D. student and Provost’s Fellow in music theory at the Eastman School of Music. He holds a B.M. in composition (2015), and a M.M. with a double concentration in composition and conducting (2018) from The Greatbatch School of Music at Houghton University, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Pi Kappa Lambda musical honors society. Jerome’s research interests focus on melodic analytical approaches in the classroom and modal fluidity within millennial gospel.

In his spare time, you will find Jerome rooting for the Buffalo Bills! Jerome lives with his lovely wife, Hannah, and two beautiful cats (f.), Tim-Tam and Panini.
