Assistant/Associate Professor of Music Theory
The Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position (Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications and experience) in Music Theory to begin 1 July 2022. Applicants should have a completed PhD in music theory and be prepared to teach at any level of the undergraduate and graduate curricula. Although all research specialties are welcome, we especially seek candidates who will help us to diversify our curriculum, preferably in the areas of contemporary music (serious or popular) and media.
