Artist/Teacher of Trumpet
The Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester invites applications for a tenure eligible (full-time) Artist/Teacher of Trumpet, beginning on 1 July 2023. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Candidates must have an established career as a performing artist in addition to successful recruiting and teaching of outstanding students in a conservatory or university music school.
Primary responsibilities include teaching applied-music majors (undergraduate and graduate). Secondary responsibilities will include coaching chamber ensembles or other instructional duties based on the interests of the candidate and the needs of the school. Candidates will also be expected to participate fully in the life of the institution by participating on committees, recruiting, and taking part in auditions and juries.
