The Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester invites applications for a full-time position as the Associate Dean/Head Librarian of the Sibley Music Library. Applicants must have a master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program. In addition, graduate study (PhD or DMA preferred) in music history, theory, music education, performance, or a related field is required. We are seeking applicants who can provide dynamic vision and leadership to the largest collegiate music library in North America, plan for the future of the library in a rapidly changing environment, and serve the needs of students, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars. Applicants must have a minimum of five years of administrative experience in a music research library, including collection development, staff supervision, strategic planning, fund development, and budget management.
