Navigating the college difference
There are many differences between academic accommodations at the k-12 level and accommodations at the higher ed level. These resources will help clarify that difference. Families of ECMS students should note that as part of the University of Rochester, the accommodations process will follow the higher ed level guidelines. The Access Coordinator is available to discuss any questions you may have.

Developing Self-Advocacy
College is the time when students develop further independence and assume more responsibility, and we believe that parents and family members can play a crucial role in that transition. Our goal is to transform students into people who can communicate for themselves and speak up when they need help.
